Yak wool has been used since ancient times, but is still relatively unknown in the Western world. The yak cattle live at high altitudes in the Himalayan mountains in unimaginably harsh winter conditions.
The double coat, of which the undercoat is used for our clothing, has a particularly high insulating capacity. In addition, yak wool is a strong, non-pilling and antibacterial fiber that is dirt and water repellent.
The yarns of our yak products are not bleached or dyed. These products have the eco label and are certified organic by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Mongolia. Our yak wool vests are produced exclusively for us in small-scale productions.
