Yak wool has been used since ancient times, but is still relatively unknown in the western world. The Yak lives at high altitudes in the Himalayan mountains in unimaginably harsh winter conditions.
The double coat, from which the undercoat is used for our clothing, has a particularly high insulation capacity. Y ak wool is a strong, non-pilling and antibacterial fibre that is dirt- and water-resistant.
The yarns of our yak products are not bleached or dyed. These products are eco-labelled and certified as organic by the Mongolian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. ANTOON yak wool vests are produced in small-scale exclusively for us.
